RK Metaloplastika
RK Metaloplastika () is a Serbian handball club based in Šabac. They compete in the Serbian Handball Super League. History The club itself dates back to 1958. They initially competed under the name Partizan. In 1970, the club changed its name to Metaloplastika after being taken over by the industrial company of the same name. They earned promotion to the Yugoslav Championship in 1974. The club won its first trophy, the Yugoslav Cup, in the 1979–80 season, securing a spot in European competitions for the first time ever. They subsequently reached the Cup Winners' Cup semi-finals in their debut international appearance. The 1980s saw the club became champions of Yugoslavia a record seven times in a row, commencing from the 1981–82 season. They also established themselves as a dominant force in European club handball, making three straight European Cup finals appearances. The Serbian Handball Super League ( sr, Суперлига Србије у рукомету / Superliga Srbije u rukometu) is the top men's handball league in Serbia. It was founded in 2006. Vladan Matić
Vladan Matić (; born 28 April 1970) is a Serbian former handball player and current coach of Hungarian club Grundfos Tatabánya KC. He also holds Hungarian citizenship. Playing career Matić made his professional debut with his hometown club Metaloplastika. He later played for Partizan (1993–1995 and 1997–2001) and Crvena zvezda (1995–1997). In 2001, Matić moved abroad to Hungary and stayed with Pick Szeged until 2007. Matić represented Serbia and Montenegro (known as FR Yugoslavia until 2003), winning two bronze medals at the World Championships (1999 and 2001). Nedeljko Jovanović
Nedeljko Jovanović (; born 16 September 1970) is a Serbian former handball player and current coach. Club career After playing for Metaloplastika, Jovanović joined Partizan in 1991. He proved instrumental in helping the club win its first ever national championship in the 1992–93 season. Subsequently, Jovanović moved abroad and played for two seasons in Spain with Elgorriaga Bidasoa ( 1993–94) and Teka Cantabria ( 1994–95). In 1995, Jovanović switched to Germany and signed with OSC 04 Rheinhausen. He also played for TV Niederwürzbach, TUSEM Essen and SG Hameln in the Handball-Bundesliga. Nebojša Golić
Nebojša Golić (; born 23 January 1977) is a Bosnian-Serbian former handball player. He is the cousin of fellow handball player Andrej Golic. Club career After starting out at his hometown club Borac Banja Luka, Golić moved to FR Yugoslavia to play for Metaloplastika and later Sintelon (1999–2001), before eventually transferring to Germany. Ratko Đurković (born 9 February 1975) is a Montenegrin handball coach and former player who is currently coach of Crvena zvezda. Goran Đukanović
Goran Đukanović, (born 5 November 1976) is a Montenegrin former handball player. Career Over the course of his career, Đukanović played for his hometown club Lovćen on several occasions, helping them win back-to-back Yugoslav championships in 2000 and 2001. Zoran Đorđić
Zoran Đorđić (; born 15 October 1966) is a Serbian former handball player. He is the father of fellow handball player Petar Đorđić. Club career In his home country, Đorđić played for Metaloplastika and Partizan (1992–1993), before going abroad. He would spend four seasons in France with OM Vitrolles (1993–1995) and Chambéry (1995–1997). In 1997, Đorđić moved to Germany and joined SG Wallau-Massenheim, remaining eight seasons with the club.
