Novus Records
Novus Records (later Arista Novus and RCA Novus) was an American jazz record label run by Steve Backer. Backer worked at Impulse! Records until 1974, when Clive Davis, founder of Arista Records, asked him to oversee the jazz division at Arista. Backer left Arista in the early 1980s, worked for Windham Hill Records, and then went to RCA to run Novus. Novus's roster included Muhal Richard Abrams, Warren Bernhardt, Steve Coleman, Larry Coryell, Oliver Lake, Steve Lacy, James Moody, Hilton Ruiz, and Henry Threadgill. Beginning in 1989, Backer signed Marcus Roberts, Roy Hargrove, Danilo Pérez, Antonio Hart, and Christopher Hollyday. The label closed in the mid-1990s. The catalogue is now managed by Sony Masterworks through its Masterworks Jazz imprint. Novus Leisure (also A3D2 Ltd) is a British company which operates 41 bars and nightclubs in the United Kingdom. Toby Smith has been in charge of the company since 2015. Their operations include two Tiger Tiger nightclubs, and several venues in the City and West End areas of London. Ownership history Having been listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 under the name Urbium, the company was taken private in a £115 million buyout. Four years later, Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland took control from Cognetas (now Motion Equity Partners) in a debt-for-equity deal, followed by LGV Capital and Hutton Collins' £100m purchase in 2012. Tata Novus is the Tata Motors' first new offering from its acquisition of Daewoo's truck manufacturing unit. Tata Novus is based on the Daewoo Novus truck available in South Korea. It was launched in December 2005. Tata Motors became the first Indian manufacturer to introduce heavy commercial vehicles. Tata Novus is powered by a Cummins C8.3-300 engine that's Bharat Stage III compliant. It comes with a fully synchronised gear box with 10 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. Stargate Universe (season 2)
The second and final season of ''Stargate Universe'' was announced by Syfy on December 13, 2009. Like the first season, the second season consisted of 20 episodes. The series was moved from the franchise's long history of Friday to Tuesday, along with ''Caprica'', as Syfy had picked up WWE Friday Night SmackDown. The series resumed on September 28, 2009, USA. In Ireland & UK, the series resumed on October 5 at 9pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.
