Río Blanco Strike
The Río Blanco strike of January 7 and 8, 1907, was a workers' riot related to a textile strike that occurred in the town of Río Blanco near Orizaba in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Background and early stages Following a two-week railroad strike in the summer of 1906, further labor unrest developed among cotton and textile workers in the neighboring states of Tlaxcala and Puebla. Central Mexican textile workers had organized as the ''Gran Círculo de Obreros Libres'' ("Great Circle of Free Workers"), and 93 of the factory owners, most of them French, had formed a trade group called ''Centro Industrial Mexicano''. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. It was found that different atoms and different elementary particles, theoretically with the same amount of matter, have nonetheless different masses. Nogales, Veracruz
Nogales is a city in the mountainous western region of the Mexico, Mexican States of Mexico, state of Veracruz. It serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding Nogales (municipality of Veracruz), municipality of Nogales. It is situated at , at an altitude of 1280 m.
