Ryūsei No Kizuna
is a detective novel by Keigo Higashino. It was serialized in Weekly Gendai from 16 September 2006 to 15 September 2007 and was published into one ''tankōbon'' volume by Kodansha on 5 March 2008. The novel was published in paperback format by Kodansha on 15 April 2011. The novel was adapted into a Japanese television drama in 2008 starring Kazunari Ninomiya, Ryo Nishikido, and Erika Toda. With the opening theme " Beautiful days" by Arashi and the insert song " Orion" by Mika Nakashima, the drama series began on 17 October 2008. Bananaman (comedy Duo)
is a Japanese ''owarai'' comedy duo consisting of Osamu Shitara and Yūki Himura. Career Shitara and Himura formed as a comedy unit in 1993 and debuted on stage in 1994. Himura had broken up with his previous partner and Shitara was working as the driver of the comedian Masayuki Watanabe, so they formed a duo after a friend introduced them. They concentrated on skit comedy, developing a theatrical style that emphasized verbal repartee. In 2008, they came in second on the nationally televised annual ''King of Conte'' skit comedy contest. Susumu Terajima
is a Japanese actor. Though he has played a wide range of characters, he is perhaps best known for his portrayal of ''yakuza'' figures, most notably in the films of Takeshi Kitano. is a dish popular in Japan as a Western-style dish or ''yōshoku''. It usually contains beef, onions, and button mushrooms, in a thick demi-glace sauce which often contains red wine and tomato sauce. This sauce is served atop or alongside steamed rice. The sauce is sometimes topped with a drizzle of fresh cream. Recipe variants sometimes include soy sauce and sake. The dish originates from the former mining town of Ikuno, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. There was a French engineer who worked for the mine in 1868 and improved it. ''Hayashi'' rice demonstrates a Western influence with the use of demi-glace and often red wine, but is unknown in Western countries. In fact, it contains ingredients popular in Japan: slices of beef (Hyōgo Prefecture is also famous for its Kobe beef), rice and demi-glace sauce (among others). In Japanese cuisine, refers to a style of Western-influenced cooking which originated during the Meiji Restoration. These are primarily Japanized forms of European dishes, often featuring Western names, and usually written in katakana. It is an example of fusion cuisine.
