Rytis Leliūga
Rytis Leliūga (born 4 January 1987) is a Lithuanian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder (association football) for FK Jelgava. Leliūga is from Lithuania, whose national team he has represented at Under-18 level. He signed professional terms with Exeter at the beginning of the 2005/06 season and is a midfielder. He was released by Exeter City and signed for Norwegian club Bryne. After being released by Exeter he had a trial (1. week of July 2006) at Norwegian 1. div club Bryne FK and signed a contract until the end of the season. However, in January 2007 he was persuaded to switch to Danish side Herfølge BK by fellow Lithuanian Aurelijus Skarbalius, who is the manager of the club. He left the club in 2010. In April 2012 he signed for the Norwegian club Gjøvik FF, where he played till July. In July 2012 Leliūga joined the Latvian Higher League club Liepājas Metalurgs. Mažeikiai
Mažeikiai (; Samogitian: ''Mažeikē''; lv, Mažeiķi) is a city in northwestern Lithuania, on the Venta River. It has a population of around 43,547, making it the eighth largest city in Lithuania. The city is the administrative center of Mažeikiai district municipality in Telšiai County. It is the largest city that does not have its own county. History Mažeikiai was first mentioned in written sources in 1335. A chronicler of the Livonian Order wrote about a campaign of the Order, during which the land of Duke Mažeika was devastated. A Lyga
The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. The A Lyga is an abbreviation of Aukščiausia lyga meaning Highest League. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation LFF ( lt, Lietuvos Futbolo Federacija). The Aukščiausia lyga also existed during the Soviet period of Lithuania, but was not considered to be a professional league until dissolution of the Soviet Union. The league size has varied between 8 and 12 teams in the recent seasons, however 2020 A Lyga the league featured record low of only 6 teams. But in the latest 2021 A Lyga season there were 10 teams. Aurelijus Skarbalius (; born 12 May 1973) is a Lithuanian professional football manager and former player, who started his career as a winger, but played mostly as either left- or right-sided full-back. He is the Global Director of Capelli Sport, the owner of his former club HB Køge. Club career Auri started his career in Lithuanian clubs Žalgiris Vilnius and Inkaras Kaunas, before he was bought by Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF for $150,000 in 1995, after he and Inkaras met Brøndby in the 1995 UEFA Cup. Herfølge is a suburb of the town of Køge, Denmark, located about 5 kilometers south of Køge, and is a part of Køge Municipality. The suburb is connected to Køge and Næstved by the Lille Syd railway line.
