Ryan Williams (BMX Rider)
Ryan Williams (born 22 June 1994), known as R-Willy, is an Australian freestyle scooter and BMX rider. He performs with the Nitro Circus, and has a large online following. Early life Ryan Williams grew up on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, the son of a former top-rated female BMX racer. At the age of 7, he saw the 2001 X Games documentary Ultimate X, after which he began rollerblading, and then picked up scootering in 2006 at age 12 at his local skatepark in Caloundra, followed by BMX at age 15. Career In 2012, after a video of his scooter tricks went viral, Williams joined the Nitro Circus team, aged 17 and in his final year of secondary school. He continues to perform with the Nitro Circus, signing a one million dollar three-year contract in 2016. The Nitro World Games is an annual extreme sports event organized by ''Nitro Circus''. The event was originally held in 2016 at Rice–Eccles Stadium, and moved to the Utah Motorsports Campus in 2018. History In December 2015, ''Nitro Circus'' CEO Michael Porra and Travis Pastrana announced the creation of the Nitro World Games, with the inaugural Games scheduled for summer 2016 at Rice–Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. The city was selected for its history with the 2002 Winter Olympics and ''Nitro Circus''. The Nitro World Games 2016 were held on July 16 with seven gold medal events. The 2018 edition was moved to Utah Motorsports Campus in Erda. Rallycross and FMX Quarterpipe were added, with the former competing on a track designed by Pastrana. Eudlo, Queensland
Eudlo is a rural town and locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Eudlo had a population of 1,117 people. Geography Eudlo Creek rises in the south west of Eudlo. Also in the areas is Mossy Bank Mountain, a summit along an easterly protruding spur of the Blackall Range. Tailwhip
The tailwhip is a bike trick typically performed on a BMX, in which the frame of the bike performs a complete rotation around the front end (bars and forks), which remains stationary throughout the move. The same trick may also be performed on a kick scooter. To do the trick there are a few main methods: these both include whipping the bike around using your arms in a gyrating motion whilst holding the bars, but some riders also kick the bike with their back foot to give it extra momentum. It also helps if you approach a jump crooked, which will throw the bike from under, allowing you to start a tailwhip.
