Ryan Fowler (football Player)
Ryan Omead Fowler (born May 20, 1982) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans and New York Jets. He played college football at Duke University. Early years Fowler attended Seminole High School, where he played quarterback, running back and linebacker. As a junior, he was the Florida state champion in the discus throw. As a senior, he was the team captain of a team that qualified for the state playoffs. He accepted a football scholarship from Duke University. As a true freshman, he made 87 tackles (led the team), 13 tackles for loss (led the team) and 7 sacks (fourth best in school history). Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. The 2006 NFL season was the 87th regular season of the National Football League. Regular season play was held from September 7 to December 31, 2006. Scott Shanle
Scott Allen Shanle (born November 23, 1979) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. He played college football at the University of Nebraska. Early years Shanle attended St. Edward High School, where he played eight-man football as a running back and defensive back. After having a 3-6 record in his freshman season, his team went 29-3 over final three seasons. As a senior, he earned All-State and Player of the Year honors. In track he ran the 100, 200 and 4x100 meter relay. He set school records in both the 100M and 200M with times of 10.67 and 22.3 seconds. He also earned varsity letters in basketball. Dat Tan Nguyen (; vi, Nguyễn Tấn Đạt, ; born September 25, 1975) is a former American football linebacker who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for Texas A&M University, and earned All-American honors. He is the first Vietnamese-American to be drafted, play, and be recognized as an All-Pro in the NFL. In 2017, Nguyen was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Early years Nguyen's family left South Vietnam during the fall of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War, and he was born in a refugee center at Fort Chaffee in Fort Smith, Arkansas. 2005 NFL Season
The 2005 NFL season was the 86th regular season of the National Football League. Regular season play was held from September 8, 2005 to January 1, 2006. The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting.
