Ruslan Murashov
Ruslan Nikolaevich Murashov (russian: Руслан Николаевич Мурашов; born 29 December 1992) is a Russian speed skater. Personal life Murashov is a former Ice hockey player in the Moscow club "Chemist" Voskresensk until he was 15 years old when he switched to training speed skating in Kolomna. Career In 2011–2012, Murashov competed in the Junior World Cup series in 1000m and 500m. He debuted as a Senior in the 2013 season and competed at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Trentino, Italy. Murashov did not make the list and qualify for the Russian National team to compete at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. In 2014–15, Murashov competed in men's 500m at the 2014–15 ISU World Cup at the first leg of the series in Obihiro, Japan he took the bronze medal behind teammate Pavel Kulizhnikov and another bronze in Seoul, Korea. 2013 Winter Universiade
The 2013 Winter Universiade, the XXVI Winter Universiade, was a winter multi-sport event which took place in Trentino, Italy between 11 and 21 December 2013. This was the first time that a Winter Universiade happened after the Summer Universiade in same the year and in the end of the year and missing two months for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Originally, it was planned to take place in Maribor, Slovenia in late January and early February, but the Government of Slovenia overturned its decision to partially fund the project due to financial problems in February 2012. In March 2012, the International University Sports Federation decided that it would organise the Universiade elsewhere. Pavel Aleksandrovich Kulizhnikov (russian: Павел Александрович Кулижников; born 20 April 1994) is a Russian speed skater. He won the men's 500 metres event at the 2015 World Single Distance Championships as well as the 2015 World Sprint Championships, becoming the youngest winner since speed skating icon Eric Heiden of the United States.
