Rush Hour (U.S. TV Series)
''Rush Hour'' is an American police procedural comedy-drama television series developed by Bill Lawrence and Blake McCormick that is based on the film of the same name. Similar to the films, the series follows Detective Carter, a radical LAPD detective, and Detective Lee, a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong, as they are forced into an unlikely partnership. CBS placed a series order on May 8, 2015. The show premiered on March 31, 2016. On May 16, 2016, CBS cancelled the show after one season. On May 26, 2016, CBS removed the show from its schedule; however, they later announced the show would return on July 23, 2016, to burn off the remaining episodes. The series finale aired on August 20, 2016. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. Doozer is the production company of Bill Lawrence, best known for making ''Scrubs''. The company's name is taken from a variant of Lawrence's middle name, Van Duzer. They currently are under contract with Warner Bros. Television. Jeff Ingold, former head of comedy at NBC, serves as president. The single-camera setup originally developed during the birth of the classical Hollywood cinema in the 1910s and has remained the standard mode of production for cinema. David Ashley Connell (born 7 September 1955) is an Australian cinematographer with a career of over 25 years of cinematographic work in films and television to date. Career Connell got his first Super 8 film camera at the age of 12, given to him by his father, sparking an interest in film.
