A rural municipality (RM) is a type of incorporated municipality in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. A rural municipality is created by the Minister of Municipal Relations by ministerial order via section 49 of ''The Municipalities Act''. Saskatchewan has 296 rural municipalities, which are located in the central and southern portions of the province. They had a cumulative population of  and an average population of in the 2016 Census of Population. Wauchope, Saskatchewan
Wauchope (pronounced "walk-up") is an unincorporated community in the southeast corner of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located between the towns of Manor and Redvers, and is situated on the Saskatchewan Highway 13. Once a thriving French language settlement in the early 20th century, the town used to have a Catholic Residential School (1917–64), a saloon, a general store, a motor repair shop, and other businesses. The town is in the rural municipality of Antler No. 61. Today the community is home to approximately five families. Still standing is the Catholic Church and rectory, with a large Catholic cemetery located beside the church. Regular church services are no longer offered but the community maintains the church and it is used for special occasions. A local baseball diamond is also maintained. Fry's or more commonly known as Frys, is a former Locality in Antler Rural Municipality No. 61, Saskatchewan, Canada. The hamlet is approximately 10 km east of the Town of Redvers along Highway 13 and the Canadian Pacific Railway line. Very little remains of the community of Fry's. Fry's was named after James Henry Fry, the first postmaster (Jan 01 1901-Dec 7 1915) and Justice of the Peace. The 2016 Canadian census was an enumeration of Canadian residents, which counted a population of 35,151,728, a change from its 2011 population of 33,476,688. The census, conducted by Statistics Canada, was Canada's seventh quinquennial census. The official census day was May 10, 2016. Census web access codes began arriving in the mail on May 2, 2016. The 2016 census marked the reinstatement of the mandatory long-form census, which had been dropped in favour of the voluntary National Household Survey for the 2011 census.
