Plot

A journalist for a struggling television station travels to Africa to meet conservationist and filmmaker John Varty, who has been following a mother leopard for several years. She believes this would make an interesting story for the station's viewers. However, things don't work out as planned as one of the station's executives is trying to stop her filming idea and the unfortunate death of the mother leopard.

John Varty
John Varty (born 27 November 1950) is a South African wildlife filmmaker who has made more than 30 documentaries and one feature film. Varty is an author, singer-songwriter and activist. He co-owns Londolozi Game Reserve and Tiger Canyon - A project which aims to create a free-ranging, self-sustaining tiger population outside of Asia. Early life John Varty attended Parktown Boys' High School in Johannesburg. As a child, John learned about hunting on the family game farm near the Kruger National Park. After his father, Charles, died, John and his brother, Dave Varty, terminated the hunting activities and converted it into a game reserve in 1973. They renamed it Londolozi, which is the Zulu word for "protector of living things". Since then it has become one of the top resorts in the world and was included in Travel and Leisure's world's best 4 times in the late 90s and early 2000s. Brooke Shields
Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31, 1965) is an American actress and model. She was initially a child model and gained critical acclaim at age 12 for her leading role in Louis Malle's film ''Pretty Baby'' (1978). She continued to model into her late teenage years and starred in several dramas in the 1980s, including '' The Blue Lagoon'' (1980), and Franco Zeffirelli's '' Endless Love'' (1981). Dee McLachlan (born Duncan McLachlan; 4 March 1951) is a film director, producer and writer from Middle Park, Victoria. Renée Estevez
Renée Pilar Estevez (born April 2, 1967) is an American former actress and screenwriter.
