Rugby Sevens At The 2015 Pan American Games – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament of rugby sevens at the 2015 Pan American Games was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 11 to 12. The rugby sevens competition was held at BMO Field, although due to naming rights, the venue was known as Exhibition Stadium for the duration of the games. Women's rugby sevens was making its debut in the Pan American Games. A total of six teams competed in the tournament. Qualification A total of six women's teams qualified to compete at the games (12 athletes per team). BMO Field
BMO Field is an outdoor stadium located at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which is home to Toronto FC of Major League Soccer and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Constructed on the site of the former Exhibition Stadium and first opened in 2007, it is owned by the City of Toronto, and managed by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Jennifer "Jen" Kish (born July 7, 1988) is a Canadian former rugby union player. She was a member of Canada's women's sevens team that were runners-up at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Russia. Kish captained the sevens squad from 2012-2016 until she left the centralized program and while still player, she was replaced by Ghislaine Landry.
