Aleksandr Timoshinin
Aleksandr Ivanovich Timoshinin (, 20 May 1948 – 26 November 2021) was a Russian Rowing (sport), rower. Biography Born in Moscow, he later competed for the Soviet Union in the 1968 Summer Olympics and in the 1972 Summer Olympics. At the 1968 Olympics, Timoshuinin and his partner Anatoliy Sass won the gold medal in the double sculls event. Four years later he won his second gold medal this time with his partner Gennadi Korshikov in the double sculls competition. In 1972, Timoshinin won the Diamond Challenge Sculls (the premier singles sculls event) at the Henley Royal Regatta, rowing for WMF Moscow. Timoshinin died on 26 November 2021, at the age of 73, from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia. References External links

Petr Krátký (born 8 October 1981) is a Czech professional football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Indian Super League club Mumbai City. Playing career Petr Krátký played as a right-back. He was raised in 1. SK Prostějov in his hometown. Martin Studach
Martin Andreas Studach (17 May 1944 – 24 March 2007) was a Swiss rower who competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics and the 1968 Summer Olympics. Biography Studach was born in Küsnacht, Zurich, the son of Eugen Studach who had been a champion single sculler in the 1930s and 1940s. He rowed for Grasshopper Club, Zurich. Studach partnered Melchior Bürgin in the Double scull rowing for Switzerland at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo when they came fourth. At the age of 20, Studach was Switzerland's youngest competitor. Over next three years, Studach and Burgin dominated the double sculls scene. Melchior Bürgin
Melchior Rudolf Bürgin (born 17 October 1943) is a former Swiss rower who competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics. Bürgin partnered Martin Studach in the double sculls rowing for Switzerland at the 1964 Summer Olympics when they came fourth. Over next three years, Bürgin and Studach dominated the double sculls scene. In 1965 they won the Double Sculls Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta and the European Championships. Uli Schmied
Hans-Ulrich Schmied (born 23 February 1947) is a retired German rower who specialized in the double sculls. In this event he won bronze medals at the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games and finished in fifth place in 1968. He also won one world (1974) and two European titles (1971 and 1973). Schmied went to the 1978 World Rowing Championships on Lake Karapiro in New Zealand as a reserve but did not compete. It was at those championships that he got closer to one of the female rowers whom she later married; Bärbel Bendiks was also present as a reserve. After retiring from competitions he worked as a rowing coach, particularly with Arno Bergmann, Erwin Krakau and Gerhard Rothe. References External links
