Route 531 (Israel)
Route 531 ( he, כביש 531), is a suburban freeway in the southern Sharon region of Israel, just north of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area. The highway begins at Highway 6 and terminates at the Ayalon Highway with an extension to the Coastal Highway. The highway's easternmost section was constructed in the October 16, 2014, while parts of the extension of the highway to the Ayalon Highway in Herzliya opened starting in 2016. Herzliya–Ra'anana extension Originally the highway terminated east of Ra'anana. In 2008 a PFI tender was issued to continue constructing the highway westward from Ra'anana towards Highway 20 (Ayalon Highway) near the Mediterranean coast. Rishpon
Rishpon ( he, רִשְׁפּוֹן) is a moshav in the Central District of Israel. Located in the Sharon plain near Herzliya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaSharon Regional Council. In it had a population of . The moshav was established in 1936. Its original proposed name by the name committee, Rishpona ( he, רשפונה), is an artificial reconstruction of the supposed ancient name of Arsuf, based on a misreading of an Assyrian inscription.Maciej M. Highway 4 (Israel)
Highway 4 ( he, כּֽבִישׁ אַרְבַּע, ''Kvish Arba' '') is an Israeli highway that runs along Israel's entire Israeli Coastal Plain, coastal plain of the Mediterranean Sea, from the Rosh HaNikra Crossing, Rosh HaNikra border crossing with Lebanon in the Northern District (Israel), North to the Israeli Gaza Strip barrier#Erez Crossing, Erez Border Crossing with the Gaza Strip in the South. The highway follows in part the route of the ancient Via Maris. Until the 1990s and the withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces from most of the Gaza Strip due to the Oslo Accords, Highway 4 continued all the way until Rafah and the Egypt, Egyptian border. The part of the remaining highway in the Gaza Strip is called the Salah al-Din Road. Shmaryahu Levin
Shmaryahu Levin (russian: Шмарьяху Левин; born 1867 in Svislach, Minsk Governorate; died 9 June 1935, Haifa), was a Jewish Zionist activist. He was a member of the first elected Russian Parliament for the Constitutional Democratic Party in 1906. Biography Shmaryahu Levin served as a crown rabbi in the towns of Grodno (189697) and Ekaterinoslav (Dnipropetrovsk) from 1898 to 1904. He was elected to the 1906 First Duma. Levin left Russia for Germany immediately after the dispersal of the First Duma, then emigrated to America. From 1908 he began advocating for the creation of the Haifa Technion. Highway 431 ( he, כביש 431), is a suburban freeway in the south of the Gush Dan, Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area in Israel. The freeway connects the Ayalon Highway in the west with highway 1 (Israel), Highway 1 in the east. It then continues east into Modi'in as a local road. The freeway has six lanes (three in each direction) over a total length of 21 km. There is also a short Collector/distributor road, Collector/Distributor system between Rishon Darom and Nes Ziona Interchanges. There are 12 interchanges along its length, 5 of them freeway to freeway interchanges. There are also 54 km of service roads, including exits and entrance ramps. The design of the freeway includes a right of way for a double track railway in its median between Ein HaKore and Modi'in.
