Rosita Velázquez
Rosa Idalia Velázquez (born July 29, 1950), better known as Rosita Velázquez, is a Puerto Rican comedian, actress and singer. She is best known for her participation in television comedy shows such as "Mi Hippie me Encanta" ("I Love my Hippie"), "En Casa de JuanMa y Wiwi" ("At Juanma and Wiwi's House") and "Los Kakukómicos" ("The Kakucomics"). Moliendo Vidrio
Moliendo Vidrio (originally called Moliendo Vidrio con el Pecho) is a Nueva Trova band from Puerto Rico, founded in 1975. Band members included Gary Núñez, Sunshine Logroño, Rosita Velázquez, Iván Martínez, Pedro Villalón and Carmen Nydia Velázquez, among many others. Moliendo Vidrio's repertoire has been sung by generations and it has become part of the Puerto Rican folklore. Band history Un Junte para la Historia In November 1998, the band reunited for a concert with Puerto Rican bands Fiel a la Vega and Haciendo Punto en Otro Son. During the concert, the bands alternated sets performing the hit songs of each other, ending with a huge "junte" of all of the musicians singing several songs of each band. Paquito Cordero (October 16, 1932 – June 30, 2009), was a pioneer of Puerto Rican television. He was also a comedian and a musical and television producer. Early years Cordero (birth name: Francisco Cordero Baez) was born to Francisco Cordero Paco and Berta Baez de Cordero in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Cordero attended Santurce Central High School upon finishing his primary and secondary education. He was a member of his high school's drama club and participated in its plays, where he discovered the art of comedy. Cordero was geatly influenced by his aunt on his father's side, Mapy Cortés.
