Rose Mazzola
Rose "Casper" Mazzola (born September 5, 1982) is an American guitarist. She is known as a founding member of the punk rock band The Distillers, where she played guitar and sometimes sang. She left the band after the making of ''Sing Sing Death House''. Later she was the bassist in the band Gold Cash Gold. She is the daughter of Joey Mazzola of Sponge and The Detroit Cobras fame. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. The Detroit Cobras
The Detroit Cobras were an American garage rock band from Detroit, Michigan, which was formed around 1994 by vocalist Rachel Nagy and guitarist Mary Ramirez, with a constantly changing assortment of (mostly male) sidemen. Nagy died on January 14, 2022, and no plans to continue without her have been announced. History The Detroit Cobras signed with Sympathy for the Record Industry and released their first album, ''Mink, Rat or Rabbit'', in 1998. After a three-year gap, they released a second album, ''Life, Love and Leaving''. The two albums consisted entirely of cover versions of popular songs from the 1960s. In 2001, they were one of thirteen Michigan-based bands featured on Jack White's ''Sympathetic Sounds of Detroit'' compilation album: the Detroit Cobras' contribution was a cover of Otis Redding's "Shout Bamalama." Sponge (band)
Sponge is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1992 by vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, guitarist Mike Cross, bassist Tim Cross, drummer Jimmy Paluzzi, and guitarist Joey Mazzola. Dombroski and the Cross brothers were previously in the hard rock band Loudhouse, with Mazzola joining later before the end of the band's tenure. Sponge's discography includes nine studio albums, four live albums, and several charting singles.
