Rosario Tijeras (Mexican TV Series, Season 2)
The second season of the Mexican television series '' Rosario Tijeras'', created by Adriana Pelusi and Carlos Quintanilla. The season premiered on 27 August 2018 and concluded on 16 December 2018. This season aired on Azteca 7, unlike the previous season which aired on Azteca 13. The season was announced in January 2017. Production of the season began in October 2017. 60 episodes have been confirmed for the season. In the United States the season premiered on UniMás on 7 January 2019. Bárbara de Regil and José María de Tavira returned from the previous season. New actors joining the series include Christian Chávez and Sebastián Martínez. Bárbara De Regil
Bárbara de Regil (born in Mexico City, Mexico), is a Mexican actress. She debuted on television in the telenovela '' Bajo el alma''. Her most famous character to date is Rosario, in the Mexican adaptation of the Colombian action-thriller series of the same name, '' Rosario Tijeras'' (2016–2019) from Sony Pictures Television and TV Azteca. On November 5, 2020, it was reported that she had joined the cast of the crime action film 'Blackout' opposite Josh Duhamel, Abbie Cornish, Nick Nolte and Omar Chaparro. José María de Tavira Bianchi (born September 27, 1983, in Mexico City) is a Mexican film and stage actor. The son of Mexican theatre director Luis de Tavira and Argentine actress Rosa María Bianchi, he began acting on stage with his parents; at age seven had his first participation in an adaptation of ''Clotilde en su casa'' of Jorge Ibargüengoitia, then in 1994 participated in the work ''Jubileo'' by Jose Ramon Henríquez. ''Rosario Tijeras'' is a Mexican telenovela created by Adriana Pelusi and Carlos Quintanilla that premiered on Azteca 13 on 30 October 2016, and ended on 14 December 2019 on Azteca 7. It stars Bárbara de Regil as the titular character. The series follows the life of a young student with behavior problems who suffers abuse and abuses by her stepfather and decides to start making her life on the wrong path to drugs and take revenge on all who hurt her. The series is produced by Teleset for Sony Pictures Television and TV Azteca. It is based on the Colombian drama of the same name produced in 2010 and starring María Fernanda Yépez.
