Ronald J. Slay
Ronald J. Slay (November 15, 1890 – September 18, 1948) was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach. A teacher of science and modern language, he was appointed by the faculty of Mississippi Normal College—now known as the University of Southern Mississippi—in Hattiesburg, Mississippi Hattiesburg is a city in the U.S. state of Mississippi, located primarily in Forrest County, Mississippi, Forrest County (where it is the county seat and largest city) and extending west into Lamar County, Mississippi, Lamar County. Purvis is a U.S. city in and the county seat of Lamar County, Mississippi, Lamar County, Mississippi.
