Romário Ricardo da Silva (born 12 December 1990), commonly known as Romarinho, is a Brazilian football player, currently playing as a striker for Ittihad. On 27 June 2012, Romarinho scored the equaliser for Corinthians in the first leg of the 2012 Copa Libertadores Final against Boca Juniors of Argentina. In 2017, he moved to UAE Gulf League outfit Jazira on a free transfer, after the expiration of his previous contract. He played in the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup where he was the top goalscorer, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Maurício Antônio. Al Jazira Club is an Emirati professional football club based in Abu Dhabi, that currently competes in the UAE Pro League. History Al-Jazira was established in 1974 as a merger between ''Khalidiyah'' and ''Al Bateen''. The club struggled to stay in the league, getting relegated on multiple occasions during the 1980s and 1990s, but experienced a recent success when Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan invested into the club in the 2000s. Since his purchase, they won their first league title in 2011 and two more league titles in 2017 and 2021.
