The Roman Catholic Diocese of Facatativá ( la, Facatativensis) is a diocese located in the northwest of Cundinamarca Department in Colombia. Its see is the city of Facatativá; the diocese is part of the ecclesiastical province of Bogotá in Colombia. The diocesan territory includes the municipalities of Albán, Bojacá, El Rosal, Facatativá, Funza, Guayabal de Síquima, La Vega, Madrid, Mosquera, Nimaima, Nocaima, Quebradanegra, San Francisco de Sales, Sasaima, Subachoque, Supatá, Tabio, Tenjo, Tobía, Útica, Vergara, Villeta and Zipacón in Cundinamarca. The diocese is bordered by the Diocese of Zipaquirá to the north, the Dioceses of Engativá and Fontibón to the east, the Diocese of Girardot to the southwest, and the Diocese of La Dorada-Guaduas to the northwest. The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Bogotá (Spanish: ''Arquidiócesis Metropolitana de Bogotá''; la, Archidioecesis Metropolitae Bogotensis) is a particular church of the Roman Catholic Church in Colombia. It was established in 1562 as the Diocese of Santa Fe en Nueva Granada, elevated to an archdiocese two years later, and was given its current name in 1891. It serves nearly 3.8 million Catholics in Bogotá and parts of the Cundinamarca Department, and covers a total area of 4,109 km2 (1,552 square miles). The current metropolitan archbishop is Luis José Rueda Aparicio since 2020. Zipacón
Zipacón () is a municipality and town of Colombia in the Western Savanna Province, part of the department of Cundinamarca. The urban centre of Zipacón is situated at an altitude of on the Bogotá savanna, the southern flatlands of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes. Tabio is a municipality and town of Colombia in the department of Cundinamarca. It is located at from Bogotá. The town was officially founded April 8, 1603, by Diego Gómez de Mena, on grounds that were the property of the native Muisca who inhabited the area.
