Roman Bengez (22 February 1964 – 2 July 2013) was a Slovenian footballer and manager. He played for Slovenian clubs Olimpija and Ljubljana, both of which he later managed in the Slovenian First League. Forward (association Football)
Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. As with any attacking player, the role of the forward relies heavily on being able to create space for attack. Attacking positions generally favour irrational players who ask questions to the defensive side of the opponent in order to create scoring chances, where they benefit from a lack of predictability in attacking play. Team formations normally include one to three forwards. For example, the common 4–2–3–1 includes one forward. Less conventional formations may include more than three forwards, or none. Nogometni klub Ljubljana ( en, Ljubljana Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Ljubljana or simply Ljubljana, was a Slovenian football club based in the capital city of Ljubljana. The club was established in 1909 and dissolved in 2005. History Foundation The club was founded in 1909 as students club Hermes and was one of the oldest football clubs in Slovenia. The club was reformed in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as SK Hermes in late 1918 and played in the Ljubljana Subassociation League from 1920 on, scoring best result with fourth place on four occasions.
