Rogers Badgett
James Rogers Badgett Sr. (July 27, 1917 – June 6, 2005), sometimes spelled as ''Rodgers'' Badgett, was an American philanthropist and businessman involved in the construction, coal mining, oil and gas exploration, dredging, aviation, and automotive sales industries, and a key minority partner in the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball from 1978 through 1985. Born in Pettus, Arkansas, he graduated from Memphis' Messick High School and attended the University of Tennessee. He was a longtime resident of Madisonville, Kentucky. He owned and operated Badgett Construction Company before World War II, and during the war he founded Badgett Mine Stripping Corporation, which mined bauxite in Missouri, then moved into the strip mining of coal in Kentucky's Hopkins and Muhlenberg counties. Thomas Rogers Stevens (born 31 October 1970) is an American guitarist, best known for being a founding member of the alternative rock band Blind Melon. He has also been a member of the bands Extra Virgin and The Tender Trio, and is an attorney. Rogers Clark Ballard Morton (September 19, 1914 – April 19, 1979) was an American politician who served as the U.S. Secretary of the Interior and Secretary of Commerce during the administrations of presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, respectively. He also served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Maryland. Morton was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and moved to a farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the early 1950s. Rogers Lehew
Rogers Lehew (July 30, 1928 – March 16, 2021) was an American and Canadian football executive. He served as the general manager of the Calgary Stampeders from 1965 to 1974. He went on to become vice president and assistant general manager of the Detroit Lions. Lehew graduated from the University of Tulsa, where he played for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. After a stint in the air force, he returned to his alma mater and coached its football and baseball teams. He started working for the Stampeders in 1960 and was appointed general manager at the end of 1964. During Lehew's nine-season tenure, the franchise won the 1971 Grey Cup.
