Rock Machine–Rebels Conflict
The Rock Machine–Rebels conflict is an ongoing conflict between the Rock Machine and Rebels motorcycle gangs in Perth, Western Australia. The conflict began in 2009 and has continued sporadically, with both clubs competing for territory and control of criminal rackets. Beginning of conflict The Rebels Motorcycle Club at its peak in the 2000s, was the largest club in Australia with over 70 chapters in country. They saw Australia as their territory and had several ongoing conflicts with other motorcycle clubs for dominance of the country. The first Rock Machine chapter in Australia was a Nomads chapter established in 2008. In early 2009, the Rock Machine's New South Wales chapter was created in the Sydney area. The club would set up a third chapter in the Perth suburb of Myaree in mid 2009, by then Rock Machine MC Canada President, Critical J. East Fremantle, Western Australia
East Fremantle (nicknamed East Freo) is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located south-west of the central business district. The suburb is mainly residential, and is coterminous with the Town of East Fremantle local government area. An outlaw, in its original and legal meaning, is a person declared as outside the protection of the law. Finks Motorcycle Club
The Finks is an Australian outlaw motorcycle club that was formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1969 and now also has chapters in other states. The name comes from ''The Wizard of Id'' cartoon where the peasants, to his dismay, often proclaim, "The King is a fink!". The logo used by the Finks is of Bung, the king's jester. The pants worn by the jester used to differ in colour depending on the state the chapter resides in. The club was restricted by government actions in South Australia. Despite rivalries, various other groups joined to protest the South Australian government's proposed "anti-bikie legislation". It was reported in October 2013 that most members were to switch to the United States-based Mongols Motorcycle Club. Osborne Park is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia in the local government area of the City of Stirling and City of Vincent. History Osborne Park was named after William Osborne, a butcher who owned an abattoir and land on Wanneroo Road and who was elected to the Perth Road Board (the City of Stirling's predecessor), in 1875. Crawley is an affluent western suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. Mounts Bay Road is a major road in Perth, Western Australia, extending southwest from the central business district along the north bank of the Swan River, at the base of Kings Park.
