Ben Roberts-Smith
Benjamin Roberts-Smith (born 1 November 1978) is an Australian businessman and a former Australian Army soldier. The Victoria Cross (VC) in 2011 and the Medal for Gallantry (MG) in 2006 made Roberts-Smith the most highly decorated serving member of the Australian Defence Force. He was also awarded a Commendation for Distinguished Service for leadership as a patrol commander in 2012. Roberts-Smith left the full-time army in 2013 and studied business at the University of Queensland. In 2015, he was appointed deputy general manager of the regional television network Seven Queensland. He was subsequently promoted to general manager of the regional network and of metropolitan station Seven Brisbane. In 2017, Roberts-Smith's actions in Afghanistan came under scrutiny in light of an independent war crimes inquiry into "questions of unlawful conduct concerning (Australia's) Special Operations Task Group in Afghanistan". Sam Roberts-Smith
Sam Roberts-Smith (born 30 December 1985) is an Australian operatic baritone who has performed with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Opera Australia, West Australian Opera, the Ten Tenors, Sydney Philharmonia, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, West Australian Symphony Orchestra and various other opera companies in Australia and overseas. Career Roberts-Smith was born in Perth, Western Australia, to Sue and Len Roberts-Smith. He attended Hale School, as did his older brother, Ben Roberts-Smith. He graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2008 where he sang in an alternating cast the role of John Proctor in the Australian premiere of Robert Ward's opera ''The Crucible''. He joined Opera Australia in 2009 where he made his principal debut as Moralès in ''Carmen'' in 2011. Len Roberts-Smith
Major General Leonard William Roberts-Smith, (born 25 October 1946) is a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia. From February 2005, he was one of the inaugural Judges of the Court of Appeal Division, having been first appointed to the Supreme Court on 6 November 2000. From May 2007, he served as Commissioner of the Corruption and Crime Commission of Western Australia, having been appointed for a five-year term. He retired on 31 January 2011. Early life and family Born in Adelaide, South Australia, on 25 October 1946 to Doreen Roberts and Norman Smith, Roberts-Smith was educated at Saint Ignatius' College, Adelaide, and graduated in law from the University of Adelaide in 1969.
