Robert Wright (RAF Officer)
Air Marshal Sir Robert Alfred Wright, (born 10 June 1947) is a former senior Royal Air Force officer. RAF career Wright joined the Royal Air Force in 1966. He became commanding officer of No. 9 Squadron based at RAF Bruggen in 1987, Personal Staff Officer to the Chief of the Air Staff in 1989 and Station Commander at RAF Bruggen in 1992. He went on to be Assistant Chief of Staff, Policy & Plans at NATO Headquarters at RAF High Wycombe in 1994, Air Commander Operations at Headquarters RAF Strike Command in 1995 and Military Advisor to the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1997. After that he became Chief of Staff to the Air Member for Personnel and Deputy Commander-in-Chief RAF Personnel and Training Command in 1998, Assistant Chief of Staff Policy & Requirements at SHAPE in 2000 and UK Military Representative to NATO and the European Union in 2002 before retiring in 2006. Barbara Cooper (RAF Officer)
Air Commodore Barbara Cooper, (born 1958) is a retired Royal Air Force (RAF) officer and former Commandant of the Air Cadet Organisation. She was promoted to air commodore in 2008 and became the RAF's highest-ranking female. She became the Assistant Chief of Staff (Manning) at Air Command headquarters. Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) is the military headquarters of the NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) Allied Command Operations (ACO) that commands all NATO operations worldwide. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. General Sir Kevin O'Donoghue, (born 9 December 1947) is a retired British Army officer and former Chief of Defence Materiel. He retired from the service in December 2010, being succeeded as Chief of Defence Materiel by Bernard Gray. Early life O'Donoghue was born on 9 December 1947, to Phillip James O'Donoghue and Winifred Mary O'Donoghue. He studied at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He graduated in 1971 with a first-class Bachelor of Science. Military career O'Donoghue joined the Territorial Army in 1968. Personnel and Training Command (PTC) was one of two commands of the Royal Air Force (the other being Strike Command) that were merged to form Air Command on 1 April 2007.
