Robert Christen Swift (born December 3, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Spanish club Círculo Gijón Baloncesto y Conocimiento of the LEB Plata league. He played in the National Basketball Association for the Seattle SuperSonics / Oklahoma City Thunder from 2004 through 2009, for the Seattle Aviators and Snohomish County Explosion of the National Athletic Basketball League in 2010, and for the Tokyo Apache of the bj League in 2010–11. He stands at and played the center position. High school Swift caught the attention of NBA and college scouts while playing for Garces Memorial High School, and then later as the centerpiece of the Bakersfield High School team. Robert Virgil Swift (March 6, 1915 – October 17, 1966) was an American professional baseball player, coach, manager and scout. He played in Major League Baseball as a catcher, standing tall and weighing . He threw and batted right-handed. Swift is pictured in one of the most famous photographs in American sporting history. He was the catcher for the Detroit Tigers on August 19, 1951, when St. Louis Browns owner Bill Veeck sent midget Eddie Gaedel to pinch hit during an actual MLB game. The stunt occurred in the second game of a doubleheader at Sportsman's Park, inspired by the James Thurber short story ''You Could Look It Up''. Gaedel was allowed to bat when the Browns showed the umpires a legitimate baseball contract issued by the American League office. Bob Swift (Canadian Football)
Bob Swift (born November 29, 1943) is a former all-star offensive lineman in the Canadian Football League. The three-time All-Star played from 1964 to 1977 for three teams, mainly for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Born in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec, Swift won the Grey Cup in his rookie season with the British Columbia Lions where he played fullback and rushed for 1,054 yards. Rob Swift (born Robert Aguilar; May 14, 1972), is an American hip hop DJ and turntablist. He was an original member of the turntablist group The X-Ecutioners until 2004. He has also released numerous solo albums and collaborated with various artists, including Mike Patton, Patton's project Peeping Tom, Dan the Automator and Handsome Boy Modeling School, Lords of Acid, Portugal. The Man, and Herbie Hancock. From January 2010 through May 2015, Swift hosted the online hip-hop radio show ''Dope on Plastic'' on Scion A/V Streaming Radio 17.
