Robert Moore (baseball)
Robert Moore (born March 31, 2002) is an American professional baseball second baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Amateur career Moore attended Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas. He played for USA Baseball twice as an amateur. As a sophomore at Shawnee Mission East, he batted .392. In July 2019, he participated in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field. He graduated from high school early in December 2019 so he could enroll at the University of Arkansas to play college baseball. As a freshman at Arkansas in 2020, Moore started all 16 of Arkansas' games in which he batted .317 with two home runs and 17 RBIs before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That summer, he played in the Northwoods League for the Rochester Honkers. He earned postseason All-Star honors after batting .303 with twenty stolen bases and 22 walks over 119 at-bats. Arizona Complex League Brewers
The Arizona Complex League Brewers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and a Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and play their home games at American Family Fields of Phoenix. Milwaukee fields two squads in the Arizona Complex League: the ACL Brewers Blue and ACL Brewers Gold. Established as members of the Arizona League (AZL) in its inaugural 1988 season, the Arizona League Brewers played at Compadre Stadium until 1995. In baseball, hitting for the cycle is the accomplishment of one batter who hits a single, a double, a triple, and a home run in the same game. Collecting the hits in that order is known as a "natural cycle". Cycles are rare in Major League Baseball (MLB), having occurred only 339 times, starting with Curry Foley in 1882. The most recent cycle was accomplished by Nolan Arenado of the St. Louis Cardinals on July 1, 2022, against the Philadelphia Phillies. In baseball, an at bat (AB) or time at bat is a batter's turn batting against a pitcher. An at bat is different from a plate appearance. A batter is credited with a plate appearance regardless of what happens during their turn at bat, but a batter is credited with an at bat only if that plate appearance does not have one of the results enumerated below. While at bats are used to calculate certain statistics, including batting average and slugging percentage, a player can qualify for the season-ending rankings in these categories only if they accumulate 502 plate appearances during the season.
