Robert McLean (minister)
Robert McLean (February 22, 1846 – October 30, 1926) was an American Presbyterian minister and Oregon state legislator. As a minister, he founded churches in two southern Oregon communities and served as a missionary in Chile and Puerto Rico. He also served a two-year term in the Oregon House of Representatives as a Republican, representing a large rural district in the south-central part of the state. Early life McLean was born on February 22, 1846, in Vernon Center, New York, the son of Angus McLean and Mary (McGregor) McLean. When he was eighteen, he enlisted in the Union Army. He served during the American Civil War as private in Company C of the 14 New York Heavy Artillery. He began his Army service in January 1864 and was discharged as a corporal in August 1865. After the war, he joined his brother in the western United States, where he worked as a miner and a cowboy.

Robert McLean (engineer)
Sir Robert McLean (3 February 1884 – 9 April 1964) was a Scottish industrialist and engineer. He was General Manager of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway and later Chairman of Vickers Aviation Limited. Early life McLean was born in Lanarkshire, Scotland on 3 February 1883 the son of The Reverend D McLean. He was educated at the Edinburgh Academy and he took a Science Degree in Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. Indian Railways and First World War From 1905 he was an Assistant Engineer in the Indian Public Works Department, his duties included the operation and maintenance of the railways and he was also involved in surveying and building new railways line. From 1915 to 1916 he served in the British Expeditionary Force in Aden, he also served in Mesopotamia and on the Western Front. Robert McLean (footballer)
Robert Craig McLean (17 February 1879 – 24 October 1936) was a Scottish professional footballer. After initially playing in Scotland, McLean moved to Millwall in 1904 and later joined Newcastle United and finally Southampton, before returning to his home country to finish his playing career. He played primarily as a half-back. Career Robert McLean was born in Bonhill (today in West Dunbartonshire) and played his first football with junior club Rutherglen Glencairn, and Vale of Leven — at that point competing outwith the Scottish Football League. In August 1904 he moved to England to join Southern League side Millwall, and after one season joined First Division club Newcastle United, where he found himself "way down the pecking order". Douglas Maclean
Charles Douglas MacLean (January 10, 1890 – July 9, 1967) was an American stage and silent film actor who later worked as a producer and screenwriter in the sound era.
