Robert Curry
Robert Samuel Curry (August 14, 1882 – November 12, 1944), was a wrestler of the early twentieth century. He was born in New York, New York. In 1903, the National Wrestling Championships were held in the gymnasium of the New Polo Athletic Association at One Hundred and Twenty Ninth Street and Park Avenue, New York. Curry won the 105 pounds championship by defeating Gustav Bauer representing the National Turn Verein club in the final in 17 seconds. Bauer subsequently won a silver medal at the 1904 St. Louis Olympic Games in the Flyweight (up to 55 kg/121.25 lb.) division. He represented the St. George's Athletic Club and won the supplementary championship wrestling competitions of the Metropolitan Association of the Amateur Athletic Union. The competition was held from Thursday, March 24, 1904 and culminated with the final held on the evening of Saturday, March 26, 1904 in the gymnasium of the St. Bartholomew's Athletic Club, East Forty-second Street, New Y ... Day26 is an American male R&B music group formed in August 2007 by Sean "Diddy" Combs in a handpicked selection at the end of MTV's ''Making the Band 4.'' The group consists of Robert Curry, Brian Angel, Willie Taylor, Qwanell Mosley and Michael McCluney. The moniker is a tribute to the day when Angel, McCluney, Mosely, Curry, and Taylor went from unknowns to stars. The group released their first album, Day26, on March 25, 2008, one week after their ''then'' labelmates and ''Making the Band 3'' winners Danity Kane released ''Welcome to the Dollhouse''. The album's first single, "Got Me Going", was released on the finale of ''Making the Band 4.'' The album went on to debut at number one on the billboard charts. Subsequent seasons of Making the Band 4 featured the group on tour and making their second album ''Forever in a Day'' which also topped the Billboard charts. Robert Curry Cameron (1925–1972) was an American astronomer. Cameron was the son of M. W. Cameron, of Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed an undergraduate degree at Purdue University and a graduate degree in astronomy at Indiana University. On April 20, 1950, he discovered the minor planet (1575) Winifred at Brooklyn, Indiana. He named the body for Winifred Sawtell, who became his wife and colleague Winifred Cameron.
