Robert Coleman (geologist)
Robert G. Coleman (January 5, 1923 – October 18, 2020) was an American geologist. Career He was a member of the United States National Academy of Sciences. His primary field of expertise was the formation and plate tectonic setting of ophiolites and ultramafic rocks. United States National Academy Of Sciences
The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) is a United States nonprofit, non-governmental organization. NAS is part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, along with the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
