Robert Brewer (American Football)
Robert Brewer is a former American football player. He played quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns during the 1981 and 1982 season. He is the last walk-on quarterback to start for Texas and the last to start in the Cotton Bowl. His most memorable moment was the late touchdown he scored against Alabama to guide Texas to a 1982 Cotton Bowl Classic win. He is also the younger member of the only father-son combination to start at quarterback for Texas. Both father and son led Longhorn teams to victory over Bear Bryant coached teams (Charley against Texas A&M in 1954 and 1955 and Robert against Alabama in 1982). Michael Brewer
Michael Brewer (born November 13, 1992) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Virginia Tech Hokies football, Virginia Tech and was their starting quarterback from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that he played at Texas Tech University, Texas Tech from 2011 to 2013. College career Texas Tech Brewer was redshirted as a freshman in 2011. He spent the 2012 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team, 2012 season serving as the backup quarterback to Seth Doege. In Summer 2013, Brewer injured his back, which kept him sidelined for the first month of the 2013 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team, 2013 season. Rob Moerschell
Robert Marvin Moerschell (born November 18, 1962) is a former American football player. He started as quarterback for the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Texas Longhorns football, Longhorns for most of the 1983 season, the last undefeated regular season for Texas in the 20th century. In 1984, he moved to tailback and punt returner when Todd Dodge took over as quarterback. He also returned punts and kickoffs in 1981 and 1982. Moerschell is the last Texas quarterback to go undefeated as a starter over his entire career and one of the school's top ten punt returners of all time. Todd Dodge
Todd Russell Dodge (born July 21, 1963) is an American football coach and former player, and recently retired head coach at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin where he played quarterback for the Longhorns, Dodge went into coaching, primarily at the high school level. At Southlake Carroll he was head coach of four 5A state championship teams in a seven-year span. He moved on to the college level as head coach of the University of North Texas football team, but he was released after acquiring a 6–37 record. Richard Edward McIvor (born September 26, 1960) is a former American football player. He played quarterback for the Texas Longhorns and the NFL's St. Louis Cardinals. He was the Sheriff of Jeff Davis County, Texas. Early life A native of Fort Davis, Texas, Rick McIvor was born Richard Edward Mueller, Jr, but changed his name when he became an adult to Richard Edward McIvor to match the name of his mother's 2nd husband, Don McIvor. Donnie Little
Donnie Little (born October 14, 1959) is a former American football quarterback. He was the quarterback of the Texas Longhorns from 1978 to 1980, and in 1978 was the first black quarterback to play for The University of Texas. He is credited with "opening doors" for future black quarterbacks at Texas, such as James Brown and Vince Young. Early life Little was born in Dickinson, Texas and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1978. He started playing high school football during his junior year when the football coach encouraged black students to play football. Little helped the team make it to the state playoffs in 1976, and in 1977 Dickinson won the Class 3A Football State Championship with Little as quarterback.
