Robbie Simpson (born 15 March 1985 in Poole, Dorset) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a forward. Simpson is currently manager at National League South club Chelmsford City. His previous clubs include Cambridge City, Cambridge United, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Brentford, Oldham Athletic, Leyton Orient, Exeter City and Milton Keynes Dons. Playing career Norwich City Simpson began his footballing career with Norwich City at the age of nine where he spent six years on schoolboy terms. He was signed by Jez George, then head of youth development at Cambridge City, following his release by Norwich. Cambridge City Simpson went to Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City until he was 16. Robbie Simpson is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played for St. George and the unified St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL, and in the Super League he played for London Broncos as a forward. Playing career Simpson made his first grade debut for St. George in round 1 of the 1998 NRL season against Western Suburbs. Simpson played in St. George's final game before they formed a joint venture with the Illawarra Steelers to become St. George Illawarra. A semi-final loss to Canterbury-Bankstown at Kogarah Oval. Robbie Simpson (born 14 November 1991) is a British male long-distance runner who competes in marathon and mountain running events. He was a silver medallist at the 2014 European Mountain Running Championships and a bronze medallist at the 2015 World Mountain Running Championships. He won his first international marathon medal (a bronze) at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Simpson has competed five times at the European Mountain Running Championships (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and five times at the World Mountain Running Championships (2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015).
