Robbie Anderson (American Football)
Robbie Anderson (born May 9, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Temple. Anderson was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Prior to the 2022 season, he spelled his name as Robby Anderson. Early years Born in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Anderson moved to South Florida as a child. Anderson attended and played high school football at South Plantation High School. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season was the highest level college football competition in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The regular season began on August 29, 2013 and ended on December 14, 2013. 2016 East–West Shrine Game
The 2016 East–West Shrine Game was the 91st staging of the all-star college football exhibition, was played on January 23, 2016 at 4:00 PM EST, and featured NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision players and a few select invitees from Canadian university football. The game featured more than 100 players from the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season and prospects for the 2016 Draft of the professional National Football League (NFL). In the week prior to the game, scouts from all 32 NFL teams attended. The game was held in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field, and benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children. Phil Steele (c. 1960) is an American sportswriter and analyst who focuses exclusively on college and professional football. He is considered a "highly respected prognosticator" within the sports media. His company, Phil Steele Publications, produces the annual preseason magazine ''Phil Steele's College Football Preview'', which he personally writes in almost its entirety. Eastern College Athletic Conference
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is a college athletic conference comprising schools that compete in 15 sports (13 men's and 13 women's). It has 220 member institutions in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, ranging in location from Maine to South Carolina and west to Missouri. Most or all members belong to at least one other athletic conference. The ECAC was founded as the Central Office for Eastern Intercollegiate Athletics in 1938, largely through the efforts of James Lynah of Cornell University. In 1983, the Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (EAIAW) was consolidated into the ECAC. Matthew Kenneth Rhule (born January 31, 1975) is an American football coach and former player, who is the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was previously the head coach at Temple University, Baylor University, and for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played as a linebacker for Penn State University. Rhule was born and raised in New York City before moving to State College, Pennsylvania, where he would later join the Penn State football team as a walk-on under coach Joe Paterno. After a four-year playing career, Rhule began his first coaching job in 1998 as a volunteer assistant for Penn State. Later that year, he received his first positional job as the linebackers coach for Albright College. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Marshall Thundering Herd Football
The Marshall Thundering Herd football team is an intercollegiate varsity sports program of Marshall University. The team represents the university as a member of the Sun Belt Conference East Division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, playing at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level.
