Rob'n'Raz
Rob'n'Raz were a Swedish music duo of Robert Wåtz and Rasmus Lindwall. After some years of DJing in the late 1980s, they decided to start performing and composing together. They worked on production, remixing and scratching. For a time, Lindwall was the first choice when a Swedish recording demanded a scratch. Leila K and Papa Dee were among the vocalists and rappers during the first years when the records were released by Swemix. They had two chart appearances in the UK Singles Chart with " Got to Get" (1989, #8) and " Rok the Nation" (1990, #41). In 1990, they released the album '' Rob'n'Raz featuring Leila K'', which included those two songs. Remixes were produced with Just D and Christer Sandelin. They produced a large number of unofficial remixes released by Remixed Records, such as ABBA's "Dancing Queen" among others. They also composed the music for the video game ''Safecracker'' (1996). "Got to Get" is a song by Swedish electronic dance music duo Rob'n'Raz featuring singer-songwriter and rapper Leila K. Released in 1989 as her debut single, it was also the lead single from their only album together, ''Rob'n'Raz featuring Leila K'' (1990). It was very successful in Europe, reaching the top 10 in at least nine countries, like the UK, where it peaked at number eight in November same year. David Seisay (aka MC Stranger aka D-Flex) is a Swedish-American songwriter, musician and entrepreneur who became known as a rapper in Rob'n'Raz but is also known for his career as a personal trainer. He is the founder and CEO of D-Flex House of Fitness, a company that provides health and wellness services. He co-wrote the song 'One Step Closer To You' for B-Boys International and performed with them at the Swedish national selection for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Laila El Khalifi ( ar, ليلى الخليفي; born 6 September 1971) better known by her stage name Leila K, is a Swedish Eurodance singer and rapper of Moroccan descent. Early life El Khalifi's parents decided to send her to a school in Morocco, but she did not fit into the system so after one year she returned to Sweden. Musical career Leila was discovered by the musical duo Rob'n'Raz when singing in a music contest. They liked her music and offered her a recording contract in 1988. Papa Dee
David Christopher Daniel Wahlgren (born 13 July 1966), better known by the stage name Papa Dee, is a Swedish rapper. His most commercially successful track is his version of the Cat Stevens song " The First Cut Is the Deepest". Music career Wahlgren debuted in 1988 with the single "Funky Raggamuffin/Let the Music Play", a mixture of dancehall and hip hop. He then joined the Stonefunkers and became the group's rapper. This was followed by a few years of cooperation with Rob'n'Raz. Christer Sandelin
Christer Eric Sandelin (born 5 November 1961) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He has been a part of two groups. In 1978, he was in the Swedish group Freestyle with Tommy Ekman, Joakim Hagleitner, Gigi Hamilton, Diane Söderholm and Anders Uddbergand, and after the break-up of the band in 1983, he continued with Ekman and Hamilton to form the Swedish band trio Style. In 1989, he started his solo career with his debut album ''Luften darrar'' and has had a number of albums. He has also produced for a number of artists Lars Vegas trio and the duos Ronny och Ragge, Rob'n'Raz, Antique and The Graaf Sisters (Magdalena Graaf and Hannah Graaf) and singer Vicki Benckert. Lutricia McNeal (born November 27, 1973) is an American Soul music, soul and pop singing, singer. She achieved worldwide success with her cover version of "Ain't That Just the Way#Lutricia McNeal version, Ain't That Just the Way" which sold two million copies worldwide. "Dancing Queen" is a Europop and disco song by the Swedish group ABBA, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, '' Arrival'' (1976). It was written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson. Andersson and Ulvaeus also produced the song. ZTV (Sweden)
ZTV was a Swedish television channel owned by Viasat. Launched in February 1991, as a daily afternoon show on TV3 and TV4, it became a channel of its own on Swedish cable networks in May 1992. The intention was to create a Swedish version of MTV and thus the focus was primarily on music. Since May 2006, most of its programming composed of music videos. ZTV's last day was August 1, 2010 for all customers except for Boxer and Com Hem, who continued to distribute the channel indefinitely in a limited version. MTG's new sports channel TV10 took over the transmissions of other operators. History ZTV was initially also a combined radio station called Z-Radio. TV4 (Sweden)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4.
