"Road Trippin" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from their seventh studio album, ''Californication'' (1999). It was released as the album's fifth and final single in December 2000. Background The single was released only in Australia and Europe; in the former region, it was released on December 11, 2000, while in the United Kingdom, it was issued on January 1, 2001. A music video was also made but never released in the United States until the band released their ''Greatest Hits'' album in 2003. Two versions of the single were released in the UK, but only the first was available elsewhere. A third, compilation version was released in Australia. With the song being only released in Europe it is amongst the least-known singles the band has released. As a result, it did not garner much recognition or airplay outside the band's fanbase. Chad Smith
Chad Gaylord Smith (born October 25, 1961) is an American musician who has been the drummer of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers since 1988. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Smith is also the drummer of the hard rock supergroup Chickenfoot, formed in 2008, and of the all-instrumental outfit Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, formed in 2007. He worked with the Chicks on ''Taking the Long Way'', an album that won five Grammy Awards in 2007. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. Chamberlin
The Chamberlin is an electro-mechanical keyboard instrument that was a precursor to the Mellotron. It was developed and patented by the American inventor Harry Chamberlin from 1949 to 1956, when the first model was introduced. There are several models and versions of the Chamberlin. While most are keyboard-based, there were also early drum machines produced and sold. Some of these drum patterns feature the work of Chamberlin's son Richard. Development Harry Chamberlin's idea for the instrument came from recording himself playing an organ, and conceiving its playback as entertainment. "If You Have to Ask" is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from their 1991 studio album ''Blood Sugar Sex Magik''. It was released as the album's fifth and final single in 1993. A music video was made, but merely consists of live footage of the band from a 1992 show at the Winter Show Buildings in Wellington, New Zealand overdubbed with the original album track. The video is notable because it is one of only two videos to feature guitarist Arik Marshall (" Breaking the Girl" being the other). The video was rarely aired on music television and the song along with the video was not featured on the band's Greatest Hits album. Like the song " Aeroplane" from their 1995 album ''One Hot Minute'', it was one of the two music videos from the Warner era not available on their official app. The verses of the song consist of a scratchy, minimalist funk lick played on the guitar, with a busier bass melody playing behind it.
