Dexter Clift (born 8 April 1998), known professionally as River Medway, is an English drag queen who is best known for competing on the third series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' in 2021. Biography Dexter Clift was born in Medway, Kent, with her drag name coming from the River Medway that flows through her hometown. In 2021, Medway was announced as one of the drag queens competing in the third series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK''. During her time on the show, Medway's runway look inspired by Thomas Fletcher Waghorn gained comedy attention on social media. She also discussed her mother dying from COVID-19, and revealed that she received a call for the show not long after her death. Medway
Medway is a unitary authority district and conurbation in Kent, South East England. It had a population of 278,016 in 2019. The unitary authority was formed in 1998 when Rochester-upon-Medway amalgamated with the Borough of Gillingham to form Medway Towns. Cliffs Pavilion
Cliffs Pavilion is a theatre and concert venue on Station Road in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, England, a town within the city of Southend-on-Sea. It seats 1,630 and offers an assortment of variety acts. Building Work began on the original Cliffs Pavilion during the 1930s. It was intended to be a 500-seat theatre incorporating the art deco style of the times. With the outbreak of World War II, however, the building work halted. The site remained boarded-up until 1959, when the original building was leveled. It was then moved to one side and slightly closer to the edge of the cliff to form the basis of the present Cliffs Pavilion, which opened in 1964. The Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom is a concert hall in Bournemouth. It opened in 1929 and has been redesigned several times since. History The area around Bournemouth Gardens was granted permission by the owners in 1859 to incorporate a public pleasure ground. Discussions for a fixed entertainment venue took place during the 1880s, and as part of the 1892 Bournemouth Improvement Act, the council were granted £20,000 for constructing a pavilion in the gardens, which could accommodate a municipal orchestra. These plans were continually blocked by local residents who felt that licensed premises for drinking were immoral.
