Rishon LeZion–Modi'in Railway
The Rishon LeZion–Modi'in railway (also known as 431 railway and Sorek railwayNamed after the Sorek stream, which flows from east to west and empties into the Mediterranean south of the railway. However, the same name is also occasionally applied to the old Jerusalem–Beit Shemesh railway, which runs along the stream in its upriver eastern section.) is a railway project under construction linking the cities of Rishon LeZion and Modi'in in central Israel. The project will form a part of Israel Railways' suburban rail network serving the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, as well as provide an east-west connection between the Tel Aviv–Ashkelon, Tel Aviv–Beersheba and Tel Aviv–Jerusalem rail corridors. The fully electrified line will be long, and involve the construction of two new train stations and Israel's longest railway viaduct. Yavne West Railway Station
Yavne West railway station is a passenger railway station in Yavne, Israel and is one of two railway stations in the city (the other being Yavne East). The station is located between the Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan railway station to the north and the Ashdod railway station to the south. Yavne West is adjacent to Yavne's central bus station in the western part of the city and is located next to the Yavne Interchange on Highway 4. Design The station hall is located to the east of the tracks. Yavne West currently has two side platforms connected by a pedestrian bridge serving two tracks. The far platform can be converted to an island platform for a total of three tracks at the station. Highway 431 ( he, כביש 431), is a suburban freeway in the south of the Gush Dan, Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area in Israel. The freeway connects the Ayalon Highway in the west with highway 1 (Israel), Highway 1 in the east. It then continues east into Modi'in as a local road. The freeway has six lanes (three in each direction) over a total length of 21 km.
