Cameron Mesirow (born 1983 or 1984), known professionally as Glasser, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer signed to True Panther Sounds. She released her debut EP, ''Apply'', on May 26, 2009, followed by debut studio album '' Ring'' on September 24, 2010. Her second studio album, ''Interiors'', was released on October 4, 2013. Early life Mesirow was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father is a member of the Blue Man Group in Berlin, and her mother, Casey Cameron, is one of the founders of new wave band Human Sexual Response. Following her parents' divorce, she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area at age ten. She had some piano lessons as a child, and performed in musicals at school. Mesirow eventually studied German and literature at San Francisco State University, where she met Foreign Born singer Matt Popieluch, who helped draw out her songwriting abilities. True Panther Sounds (TPS) is a New York City-based independent record label founded by Dean Bein, previously owned by Matador Records and distributed by Beggars Group. The label began in 2004 in San Francisco to release a tour-only 7" by founders Bein and Samuel's band Red Tape Apocalypse. The label eventually moved to New York with Bein and was acquired by Matador Records in 2009. Artists released by the label represent many genres, including notable acts such as ABRA, Celeste, Glasser, Girls, King Krule, Tobias Jesso Jr., Shlohmo, and Slowthai. About True Panther was started in 2004 by Dean Bein, Molly Samuel, and Avi Klein to put out a tour-only 7" by Bein and Samuel's band Red Tape Apocalypse. Ariel Rechtshaid ( ;) is an American record producer, audio engineer, mixing engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. His accolades include three Grammy Awards for music production. Rechtshaid was the lead singer and guitarist of the ska/pop-punk band The Hippos, and the bassist and producer of indie folk-rock group Foreign Born. In 2006, he produced the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 number one-charting single "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White T's.
