Right To Dream Academy
Right to Dream is a Ghanaian football academy. The academy started in 1999 training a small number of boys in Accra and grew into a residential school and training center. As of 2021 it was owned by Mansour Group. History Right to Dream Academy was founded in 1999 by Tom Vernon, who had been Manchester United's head scout in Africa. It started on a small scale and, unlike most youth academies, independent of a professional team, training a small number of boys who were initially housed in Vernon's home. Some scouts and other staff were volunteers. In 2004 the organization began partnering with US boarding high schools to offer athletic scholarships. In 2010 the organization opened a new facility south of Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. In sporting terminology, a youth system (or youth academy) is a youth investment program within a particular team or league, which develops and nurtures young talent in farm teams, with the vision of using them in the first team in the future if they show enough promise and potential, and to fill up squad numbers in some teams with small budgets. Abu Danladi (born October 18, 1995) is a Ghanaian footballer. Career Amateur & College Abu Danladi graduated from Ghana's Right to Dream Academy. He attended Dunn High School in Los Olivos, California. He played college soccer with the UCLA Bruins. Danladi received the Gatorade Player of the Year award in 2013–14 while playing for Dunn School. Millbrook School is a private, coeducational preparatory boarding school located in Stanford, New York, United States. History Millbrook School was founded in 1931 by Edward Pulling. Pulling was a graduate of both Princeton University and Cambridge University, and he taught at Groton School and Avon Old Farms as well as private schools in the United Kingdom. Edward Opoku Yeboah Alexander (born 1 August 1997) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger.
