Richard Stromberg (born November 10, 2000) is an American football Center (American football), center for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks football, Arkansas Razorbacks and was selected by the Commanders in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. Early life Stromberg was born on November 10, 2000, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Union High School (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Union High School in Tulsa, where he played American football, football as a two-way Lineman (gridiron football), lineman. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. According to Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, "you need to have somebody who can neutralize that nose tackle. If you don't, everything can get screwed up.
