Richmond Lass
Richmond Lass won 31 races as a harness racer and went on to win the 1969 Inter Dominion Pacing Championship. The horse was owned by Fred Miller, from Richmond House, Bung Bong, Victoria and driven by "respected local horseman Jack Moore." Richmond L'Ami Richmond L'Ami (with L'Ami being French for 'friend') a bay horse was born on 14 November 1975. The dam was Richmond Lass and the sire, Tarport Boy. Richmond L'Ami - a pacer - won a number of races including the Boort Cup on 30 January 1982. Death Richmond Lass died at Richmond Park, in a major bush-fire, at Bung Bong, on 14 January 1985. Inter Dominion Pacing Championship

The Inter Dominion was the brain child of Western Australian Trotting Association Chairman Mr. J P Stratton, with the first series held at Gloucester Park, Perth. The host of the series is rotated between the six harness racing states of Australia and the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The rotation of the Championships is fixed annually at a meeting of the council. It is fixed five years in advance. It is held in New Zealand once in each four years. The traditional format is a series of heats held over a two-week period, with the final held in a third. Inter Dominion Hall Of Fame
The Inter Dominion Hall of Fame is an organization created to recognise and honour those whose achievements have enriched the world of the Harness racing industry, particularly in the Inter Dominion series. The hall of fame was created to honor the standardbred annual races of the Inter Dominion which includes the Inter Dominion Pacing Championship and the Inter Dominion Trotting Championship. The races are held in a rotating cycle in Australia and New Zealand. The 2020 race is being held in New South Wales. The championship is one of the most prominent harness racing series in Australasia. Both the Inter Dominion Harness Racing Council and the Inter Dominion Events Committee participate in organizing the races. Many high calibre standardbred horses have competed in the races. Rathscar, Victoria
Rathscar is a Central Victorian locality. Gold was mined in the area. The area to the east of the Avoca River known as Rathscar West was surveyed in 1899. Rathscar straddles both the Pyrenees Shire and the Shire of Central Goldfields. Gold mining The Melbourne newspaper The Argus reported in 1903 that a new gold-bearing reef had been discovered in Rathscar. People The "largest landholder and possibly the wealthiest" in the area was Charles Wilson from ''Sunny Park'' ( Coordinates ). Tabcorp Park is an Australian horse racing venue situated in Melton, Victoria, Australia; north-west of the Melbourne CBD. It is used for harness racing and is operated by Harness Racing Victoria. Overview Tabcorp Park incorporates a track as well as a host of amenities such as restaurants, gaming machines, hotel accommodation and conference facilities.
