Richard Akinfolarin Taylor (born 2 October 2000) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Scottish Premiership side St Mirren F.C., St Mirren. Career Taylor began his career at Burnley F.C., Burnley. In October 2018, Taylor joined Colne F.C., Colne on loan, joining fellow Burnley scholars Michael Fowler, Will Harris and Ethan Kershaw also on loan at the club. In May 2019, Taylor signed for EFL League One club Southend United F.C., Southend United, after impressing for the club on trial. On 13 November 2019, Taylor made his debut for the club in a 3–1 EFL Trophy win against AFC Wimbledon. Hackney is a district in East London, England, forming around two-thirds of the area of the modern London Borough of Hackney, to which it gives its name. The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the nineteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall.
