Richard Hastings
Richard Cory Hastings (born 18 May 1977) is a former Canadian soccer player and current manager of Highland League side Inverurie Loco Works. He played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County, Grazer AK, MVV Maastricht, Hamilton Academical and Brora Rangers. Hastings played 59 times for the Canadian national team. Hastings was a member of the Canada side which won the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and later represented his country at the 2001 Confederations Cup, the 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup, 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup, 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Richard's nephew, Gabriel, signed for Caley Thistle as a youth team player on 14 May 2018. Club career Hastings was born in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Richard Hastings, Baron Welles
Sir Richard Hastings, Baron Welles (died 1503), was the son of Sir Leonard Hastings and a younger brother of William Hastings, 1st Baron Hastings. He was a favourite of Edward IV, who granted him the lands of the baronies of Willoughby and Welles after he had married the heiress, Joan Welles. He fought at Tewkesbury. He died in 1503, and was buried at the Greyfriars, London. Family Richard Hastings was the second son of Sir Leonard Hastings (1396 – 20 October 1455) and Alice Camoys, daughter of Thomas de Camoys, 1st Baron Camoys, by his first wife, Elizabeth Louches, the daughter and heiress of William Louches. He had three brothers and three sisters: *William Hastings, 1st Baron Hastings, who married Katherine Neville, sister of Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick, and widow of William Bonville, 6th Baron Harington, slain at the Battle of Wakefield 30 December 1460. Hastings Baronets
There have been two baronetcies created for members of the Hastings family headed by the Earl of Huntingdon, one in the Baronetage of England and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. Both creations are extinct. The Hastings Baronetcy, of Redlinch in the County of Somerset, was created in the Baronetage of England on 7 May 1667 for Richard Hastings. He was the grandson of Sir Edward Hastings, younger son of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon (see Earl of Huntingdon for earlier history of the family). Hastings married Margaret, daughter of Sir Robert Pointz, but had no children, and the title became extinct on his death in 1668. Margaret remarried Samuel Gorges, later a High Court judge in Ireland. Her first marriage was apparently a happy one: at her death, she left Samuel a portrait of Richard. Doc Hastings
Richard Norman Hastings (born February 7, 1941) is an American politician and member of the Republican Party who served as the U.S. representative for from 1995 until his retirement in 2015. The district includes much of central Washington including the Tri-Cities, Yakima, and Moses Lake. The most conservative Republican in Washington's Congressional delegation, he chaired the House Committee on Ethics from 2005 to 2007 and chaired the House Committee on Natural Resources from 2011 to his leaving office. In February 2014, Hastings announced that he would not run for re-election in 2014.
