Richard Falklen
The House Foundation was the morning show at Nashville's WSIX-FM radio station. History Beginnings In the early 80's, WSIX-FM started a morning show that featured veteran disc jockey and songwriter Gerry House as the host. Al Voecks had presented a talk show on the AM station, and he soon became House's news man. Duncan Stewart came to Nashville from Boston in 1983, through a friendship with the music director at WSIX-FM, and he soon became House's Sports guy. Completing the foundation was Paul Randall, who began as a traffic reporter and he soon became House's co-presenter or 'sidekick'. While Voecks and Stewart came in every half hour to do news and sports, Randall stuck around for the whole show and played off House. Gerry House (born 1948) is an American radio personality who was heard on WSIX-FM in Nashville, Tennessee on the morning show ''Gerry House and the House Foundation'' from 1983 to 2010. House has won the CMA ACM Billboard and Marconi awards for Personality of the Year numerous times. House is also a songwriter, who has written songs for George Strait (" The Big One"), Reba McEntire ("Little Rock"), LeAnn Rimes (" On the Side of Angels") and Pam Tillis (" The River and the Highway"). William Wendell Gilman III (born May 24, 1988) is an American singer. Starting as a young country artist, he is known for his debut single " One Voice", a top 40 hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and a top 20 hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart in 2000. "Bad Day" is a pop song by Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter from his self-titled second studio album (2005). It was written by Powter and produced by Jeff Dawson and Mitchell Froom. Powter and Dawson recorded the song in 2002, but were initially unable to find a record label to release it.
