Andover, Hampshire
Andover ( ) is a town in the English county of Hampshire. The town is on the River Anton, a major tributary of the Test, and is situated alongside the major A303 trunk road at the eastern end of Salisbury Plain, west of the town of Basingstoke, both major rail stops. It is NNW of the city of Winchester, north of the city of Southampton and WSW of London. Andover is twinned with the towns of Redon in France, Goch in Germany, and Andover, Massachusetts in the United States. ''The Sunday Show'' is a British entertainment show that was broadcast on BBC2 from 5 March 1995 to 28 December 1997. Donna McPhail and Katie Puckrik hosted the first two series, Puckrik was replaced by Paul Tonkinson for the third series. For the fourth, Tonkinson hosted with Jenny Ross, previously the show's Pop Desk presenter. The show is best remembered for giving breaks to two young comedians who went on to greater success: Paul Kaye, who appeared each week in his Dennis Pennis character, attending premieres and other events, and throwing absurd questions at the gathered celebrities; and Peter Kay who presented a regular "World of Entertainment" slot ostensibly reviewing TV and film but, in practice, this was simply a vehicle for his stand-up comedy act. Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). ''Are You Smarter than a/Your 10 Year Old?'' is a British quiz show which aired on Sky 1 from 2007 to 2010. There were two editions, one broadcast weekly in primetime, hosted by Noel Edmonds and a daily version, originally hosted by Dick and Dom and later by Damian Williams. The show welcomes adult contestants, who attempt to answer ten questions (plus a final bonus question) taken from primary school textbooks, two from each school year from ages 6 to 10. Each correct answer increases the amount of money the player banks; a maximum cash prize of £250,000 (or £500,000 in series three) in primetime and £50,000 in daytime can be won. Sky Witness is a British pay television channel owned and operated by Sky, a division of Comcast. The channel primarily broadcasts drama shows from the United States, aimed at the 18–45 age group. ''Soapstar Superchef'' was a cooking show on the ITV Network, where soap stars from '' Coronation Street'', '' EastEnders'', ''Emmerdale'', ''Hollyoaks'' (and '' Hollyoaks: In the City'') and '' Neighbours'' competed to be crowned "kings" or "queens" of the kitchen. Their culinary efforts were judged by an expert panel of three judges. Each judge gave a mark out of ten, and the teams were able to gain extra points by answering questions about a short clip from their rivals' soap. Each team cooked twice and their points from both episodes were added together and the two teams with the highest totals competed head-to-head to win the show. ITV Breakfast Broadcasting Limited (previously known as GMTV Limited) is the national ITV breakfast television licensee, broadcasting in the United Kingdom. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of ITV plc in November 2009. The breakfast license runs daily from 6:00 am – 9:25 am.
