Ricardo Santos (beach Volleyball)
Ricardo Alex Costa Santos (born January 6, 1975 in Salvador da Bahia) is a beach volleyball player from Brazil. Santos won the silver medal in the men's beach volleyball competition at the 2000 Summer Olympics with partner Zé Marco de Melo. Santos also represented his native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There he claimed the gold medal, teaming up with Emanuel Rego, with whom he won the world title in October 2003. The same pairing went on to win the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he teamed with Pedro Cunha, but they lost in the quarter finals. Ricardo Henrique da Silva dos Santos (; born 13 February 1987) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker. Career Santos came to Sweden and Kalmar FF in 2007. He was loaned out to Åtvidabergs IF the following season, where he was the top scorer at the club. Coming back to Kalmar FF when the team unsuccessfully tried to defend their title, Santos established himself in the first team for the coming two seasons. In August 2012, Santos joined Norwegian club Sogndal. On 15 December 2014, Santos transferred to Chinese Super League side Guizhou Renhe. Ricardo Santos (born 7 September 1982) is a Portuguese professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. He won the 2012 Madeira Islands Open. Professional career Santos turned professional in 2006. From 2007 to 2011 he played regularly on the Challenge Tour. In 2007, he was given an invite to the Madeira Islands Open on the European Tour, and led after the first round. He began the 2011 season well, making nine of his first ten cuts, including seven top-15 finishes. He then recorded his first Challenge Tour victory at The Princess, which took him to the top of the tour rankings. He was the first Portuguese-born golfer to win at this level, as José-Filipe Lima and Daniel Silva, despite representing Portugal, were born in France and South Africa respectively. He eventually finished 2011 in fourth place in the Order of Merit to gain a place on the European Tour in 2012. Ricardo Alexandre Almeida Santos (born 18 June 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bolton Wanderers. Career Santos was a youth team player at Dagenham & Redbridge, making one appearance in the matchday squad, before he was released and signed by Thurrock manager Mark Stimson, following a spell at Dover Athletic where he made no appearances. He impressed for the Isthmian League club, making 24 appearances, and was signed by Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson on three-and-a-half-year contract in February 2014. Peterborough paid £8000 for him. He made his League One debut on 3 May in a 0–0 draw with Port Vale at London Road.
