Ricardo Jorge Rodrigues Pessoa
Ricardo Jorge Rodrigues Pessoa (born 5 February 1982) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a right-back, currently manager of S.C. Lusitânia. He spent most of his 17-year professional career with Portimonense, but also competed in the Primeira Liga with Vitória de Setúbal and Moreirense. He made a record 359 appearances in LigaPro. Club career Born in Vendas Novas, Évora District, Pessoa started his professional career with Vitória de Setúbal, being sparingly used during his four-year spell with the Sado River club. He played 20 games as it returned to the Primeira Liga in 2004 after one year of absence, but only made ten appearances at that level over three seasons. In the summer of 2005, Pessoa returned to the second division and signed for Portimonense SC, being an undisputed starter from the beginnings and also eventually gaining captaincy. Sado River
The river Sado () is a river in southern Portugal; it is one of the major rivers in the country. It flows in a northerly direction (the only major Portuguese river to do so) through from its springs in the hills of Ourique before entering the Atlantic Ocean in an estuary in the city of Setúbal. Portimão
Portimão () is a city and a municipality in the district of Faro, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The population in 2011 was 55,614, in an area of 182.06 km2. The 2017–18 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. The 2009–10 Liga de Honra season (also known as Liga Vitalis due to sponsorship reasons) is the 20th season of the second-tier football in Portugal. It began on 13 August 2009 and will end on 9 May 2010. Olhanense are the defending champions. Teams Trofense were relegated to the Liga de Honra after finishing 16th and last in the Portuguese Liga 2008–09 season. Trofense were to be accompanied by Belenenses, who finished in 15th place.
