A.S.D. Rajo Rho Baseball, or Rajo Rho, or simply Rajo, is an amateur baseball club based in Rho, a city near Milan in the Italian region Lombardy. As of 2009 it competes in Seria B. It was formed in 1988 in nearby Bollate as Rajo Ambrosiana Baseball Bollate, through the fusion of Ambrosiana Bollate Baseball (founded in 1968) with Rajo Deportivo Baseball Bollate (founded 1976). The following tear a merger took place with Rho Baseball (founded 1974); the club's name became Rajo-Rho and the club moved to Rho. In 1993 the team achieved promotion from Serie C-1 to Serie B. They were relegated at the end of the season but returned in 1995 and remained there for a number of years.‘La Storia della Rajo’

Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each, taking turns batting and fielding. Rho, Italy
Rho (; ; ) is a town and ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan. The language spoken in Rho is Italian. Geography Rho is lapped by the river Olona and crossed by its tributaries Bozzente and Lura, nowadays partially cloaked inside the town. At the north and east of the town, there is the road of national interest Strada statale 33 del Sempione, which in the past was crossing the town itself, in the current ''corso Europa''. The Italian Baseball League (IBL; Italian: ') is a professional baseball league that is governed by FIBS (Italian Baseball & Softball Federation), which has its headquarters in Rome. The IBL is a wood bat league in which both composite and aluminum bats are prohibited; the official ball of the IBL is the '' Wilson 1010 Italy''. Until 2010, the IBL featured a league format that demoted the last place finisher to the minor leagues (Series A2), while the Series A2 champion would be promoted into the IBL.
