Reunion (video Game)
''Reunion'' is a space strategy video game. It was the first game by Hungarian game developer company Amnesty Design (now Digital Reality) and was released by the British publisher Grandslam Entertainment. In North America, it was sublicensed to Merit Studios and released under the name ''Merit's Galactic Reunion''. The game was programmed by János Kistamás, Krisztián Jámbor, and Attila Lendvai (Amiga), István Kiss (MS-DOS). The soundtrack was made by Tamás Kreiner. Plot In the 27th century, centuries of peace have allowed great scientific progress in the development of the first interstellar warp drive. Two research ships, designated Explorer-1 and Explorer-2, are outfitted with the experimental drives and sent to find new planets for colonization. Digital Reality
Digital Reality Software Kft. (formerly Amnesty Design) was a Hungarian video game developer based in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 1991 as Amnesty Design, and started to work on their upcoming title, ''Reunion'', which would be released in 1994 by Grandslam Video, for Amiga and MS-DOS. In 1997, leading up to the release of ''Imperium Galactica'', the company changed its name to Digital Reality. In the following decade, games like '' Haegemonia: Legions of Iron'', ''Platoon'', '' SkyDrift'' and '' Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps'' were produced, all to positive reception. In 2006, Digital Reality opened a subsidiary studio, Whiz Software, in cooperation with CDV Software, and in 2011, they spun off a digital distribution subsidiary, Digital Reality Publishing. Tamás Kreiner music composer and sound designer, appreciated by BAFTA awards. As a music composer, his fields of expertise range within computer and console games, cinematic movies, short movies, documentaries and commercials, also creation of the entire sound design.
