Reunion (2012 Film)
is a Japanese film directed by Ryoichi Kimizuka, starring Toshiyuki Nishida. It premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival in September 2012, and was released at cinemas in Japan on 23 February 2013. Outline The film is based on the non-fiction book by Kota Ishii. Set in Kamaishi, Iwate, following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Aiba (played by Toshiyuki Nishida) is a retired funeral-home employee who volunteers to assist in the task of preparing bodies at a temporary morgue set up in a school gymnasium. Ryoichi Kimizuka
is a Japanese screenwriter and director for television and film. Career Kimizuka first entered the Japanese television industry by working on variety shows under Kin'ichi Hagimoto. He then began writing screenplays for television dramas, including such hits as '' Zutto anata ga suki datta'' and ''Bayside Shakedown''. He has branched out into screenplays for film, including the hit ''Bayside Shakedown'' films, as well as directing. Ikki Sawamura
is a Japanese model, film and television actor, and television presenter signed to Ken-On. His second son, Kōta Nomura is also an actor. Biography Ikki Sawamura was born in Kagoshima in 1967. After graduating from the local high school, he moved to Tokyo and started his career as a fashion model. In 1996, Sawamura debuted in a TV drama ''Matsuda no Drama'' as an actor. Shanti Snyder (born 4 June 1981), better known as Shanti, is a Japanese lyricist, singer, songwriter, and music TV host of mixed descent, based in Japan and hailing from Kanagawa Prefecture. Toshiyuki Nishida
is a Japanese actor. He has won two Japanese Academy Awards for best actor, for ''The Silk Road'' (1988) and ''Tsuribaka Nisshi 6'' (1993).
